Burning Man 2001 Fire Cannons

So I was digging through some of my old pics, and found this scan of a polaroid (hey, it was 2001!). I’ve been to Burning Man ten years now, and it has most certainly changed a lot in that time. The top of The Burning Man structure was 70 feet, and as you can see, the fire plumes dwarfed it easily.

I really like this one because everything is blurred except her. She and Jeremy were running while holding hands, and it was nearly impossible to get any pic of them, as when I would turn around after trying to run in front of them, they would be RIGHT behind me.

I was out with another family and the kids and they had these super strong bubbles. They just stayed on top of the grass and didn’t burst. It was very odd.
